1. Ownership and scope
MailboxGUI is an ImagineCraft product created and maintained by Rismr1. Rismr1 retains ownership of the original project code, assets, documentation, and branding to the extent owned by Rismr1. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Permission to use or download the product is a license, not a transfer of ownership. Third-party materials and contributor-owned material retain their respective ownership and applicable terms.
This license applies to the covered official product materials and editions. It does not grant access to private source repositories, credentials, customer data, or another product. It does not retrospectively withdraw permissions already granted for earlier copies under their applicable licenses.
2. Permitted server use and product access
You may install and use authorized copies on Minecraft servers and private networks you own or administer, maintain private backups, and change configuration, messages, permissions, and other supported settings for those servers.
Commercial server use is expressly permitted. You may operate a monetized Minecraft server, charge for server access, and charge for your own server services or features, subject to applicable law and the rules of Minecraft and other platforms. Charging for your own server experience is not permission to sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, or bundle MailboxGUI itself for others.
Official Free builds may be used without a Premium purchase. Premium builds require a valid entitlement for MailboxGUI, obtained through an authorized purchase, verified eligible marketplace purchase, or an authorized giveaway or contributor reward. Buying or receiving another product does not grant this product. For MailboxGUI and DiscBridge integration, use matching Free/Free or Premium/Premium editions. Each Premium product requires its own entitlement; the Resource Pack is separate.
3. API integrations and private changes
Where MailboxGUI provides a documented public API, you may use its public API code and types in other plugin integrations. You may copy, compile, embed, shade, or redistribute the public API-only code or API artifact as needed for your integration, including an integration you distribute or sell. Preserve applicable copyright and license notices and third-party notices. You retain ownership of your own original integration code. This permission does not cover the plugin implementation, Premium modules, private or internal integration APIs, resource-pack assets, or licensing bypasses. A product without a public API does not acquire one through this clause.
Source inspection or private modification is permitted only for source lawfully made available to you and where its applicable license or written authorization permits it. Existing permissions to privately modify earlier source copies for your own server are preserved. Keep such modifications private unless written permission or section 11 expressly permits distribution. Source availability does not itself grant public redistribution rights. Modified builds are unofficial and support may require reproducing the issue on an official build.
4. Redistribution and attribution restrictions
Except for the public API permission, the resource-pack delivery permission where applicable, section 11 after its verified trigger, third-party rights, or written permission from Rismr1, you must not share, leak, reupload, mirror, publicly fork, redistribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or bundle original or modified product files or source for other people. This includes free redistribution and inclusion in downloadable server setups or product bundles. Do not bypass purchase, edition, or license restrictions.
Do not claim authorship of Rismr1's original work, remove required notices or contributor credits, or imply that an unofficial integration or modified build is an official or endorsed ImagineCraft release. You may accurately identify compatibility without claiming an endorsement. Contributors and integration authors may accurately identify their own original contributions.
5. Contributions and contributor credit
Code, patches, translations, documentation, suggestions, and other material are incorporated only with the contributor's permission. When you expressly agree to contribute under these terms, you grant Rismr1 a worldwide, royalty-free, nonexclusive permission to use, modify, publish, distribute, and include the accepted contribution in this product, its Free and paid editions, documentation, and future releases, including redistribution under the Legacy Release Provision. You confirm you own the contribution or have authority to grant those permissions and disclose relevant third-party terms.
Rismr1 gives credit for accepted contributions using the contributor's agreed name or identifier, respecting requests for anonymity. You retain copyright in your original contribution unless separately assigned in writing. Contributions do not transfer ownership of the overall product to you and do not guarantee payment, employment, or Premium access.
At Rismr1's discretion, a contribution may be rewarded with one or more product-specific Premium licenses or another authorized product entitlement. Any such reward must be expressly granted; submitting a contribution does not automatically unlock a product. An authorized reward includes the full product access and support associated with that entitlement.
If you do not agree to your work being included, Rismr1 will respect that decision and will not incorporate it. Tell Rismr1 before integration if permission is withheld or disputed. If you raise a concern after inclusion, contact Rismr1 to arrange review and removal or replacement in future releases where feasible; previously distributed copies cannot necessarily be recalled. Third-party material must not be submitted without the required permission.
6. Support commitment
Eligible Premium purchases receive installation and configuration assistance, troubleshooting, and bug-report support through the Plugin Support page. Authorized giveaways and contributor rewards receive the same support as the corresponding purchased entitlement. Resource-pack entitlements include resource-pack support. Free users may use the available Free support channels and documentation.
Support covers documented supported versions and reasonable use of official releases. It does not promise a response deadline, custom development, support for all private modifications, or indefinite releases. Users of unsupported versions may need to upgrade. Support or community access may be restricted or terminated for harassment, threats, spam, fraud, repeated abuse, or license violations. Losing community access is not automatically termination of the software license; termination of product rights is governed by section 9. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. No warranty
The product is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation, to the extent permitted by applicable law. No warranty is made for universal compatibility, uninterrupted availability, unsupported platforms, conflicting plugins, or all server configurations. This disclaimer does not cancel the support commitment or exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Responsibility and limitation of liability
You are responsible for server security, permissions, legal compliance, compatibility testing, and backups before installing, updating, or modifying the product. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rismr1 is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, data loss, downtime, or damage arising from use or misuse. Nothing excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Payment disputes and refunds remain subject to applicable law, authorized marketplace/payment rules, and the Plugin User Agreement.
9. Termination
Your rights granted under this license automatically terminate if you violate its terms, subject to applicable law. Upon termination, you must stop using, modifying, and accessing the covered product and source under the terminated permission, and remove unauthorized copies or modified versions in your possession or control. Independent third-party rights and legally required record retention are not withdrawn by this clause. Revocation or a confirmed refund may remove the corresponding website download, update, and support entitlement under the purchase rules.
10. License revisions and written permission
Rismr1 may publish revised license terms, each identified by a revision and effective date. Published revisions remain available in the license history. New releases or downloads identify the applicable terms; material changes will be disclosed and renewed acceptance obtained where appropriate. Revisions do not silently rewrite completed purchases or retrospectively withdraw previously granted rights. The license accompanying an earlier copy continues to govern that copy except where a lawful, expressly accepted change applies.
Requests for exceptions or additional permissions must be approved in writing by Rismr1. Contact Rismr1 through the official Plugin Support page. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Legacy Release Provision
Following Rismr1's verified death, permission is granted to the public to use, inspect, modify, and redistribute the original product source and assets lawfully designated for this legacy release, without charging for those copies. Monetized Minecraft server use remains permitted. You must not sell, rent, paywall, or charge for access to the original or modified product itself or its assets. Preserve Rismr1's original authorship, copyright notices, contributor credits, and these legacy conditions. Identify modifications and their authors, and do not claim authorship of Rismr1's original work or imply an official endorsement. Redistribution of covered modifications must carry these same conditions.
This is a conditional public-use license, not a public-domain dedication or a transfer of original authorship. Copyright may be administered by the estate or lawful successor. Verification and source publication must be handled by an authorized executor or successor with reliable evidence, not by an inactivity timer or an unverified report. This provision does not itself expose private repositories. Operational access and publication arrangements should be documented separately with the estate.
Only rights lawfully controlled by Rismr1 or covered by an accepted contributor grant are included. Credentials, customer information, license keys, private server data, unrelated third-party assets, and material that cannot lawfully be relicensed are excluded. Applicable third-party licenses remain in force. This legacy provision is an express exception to the redistribution restrictions above after the verified trigger.
Plain-language summary
Use authorized copies on your own servers, including commercial and monetized servers. Integrate through public APIs where provided. Keep implementation files and private changes private; do not leak, redistribute, or resell the product. Rismr1 remains credited for the original work; contributors receive credit for their contributions. Eligible paid, giveaway, and contributor-reward entitlements receive support, without a warranty of perfect operation. Following verified death, the designated work may be modified and redistributed under section 11, but not sold. The numbered terms govern if this summary leaves out detail.
